Shower waterproofing.
The part you never see is the part that keeps your bathroom dry. Bonded membranes, sealed corners, and a flood test you can watch before tile.
Where showers fail
A shower almost never leaks at the tile. It leaks behind it:
- No pre-slope under the pan
- Corners and seams never sealed
- Regular drywall behind a wet wall
- Niches, benches and curbs tiled but never wrapped
What a proper system looks like
A bonded membrane over a sloped base, sealed at every corner, seam and pipe, carried through the niche, the bench and the curb. Then the pan is filled and checked. Only after the flood test does tile go on.
Repairs and rebuilds
If your shower is leaking, we open the wet area, find what went wrong and rebuild it. You see the test pass before the tile covers it.

Why do showers leak?
Almost never at the tile. Grout and tile are not waterproof. Showers leak when the layer behind the tile is missing or broken.
What is a flood test?
We plug the drain, fill the pan and check the water level before any tile goes on. If it is going to leak, we find out now, not in two years.
